Samsung SD-612b Driver. This is the rom update that samsung offers. win98, winME, winXP, came with sfdnwin, a windows flash installer of some sort. It wouldn't let me update, maybe yours will. Compaqs rom update for dvd-rom went smooth. There is an 612F and 612S model that samsung has at their website. www.samsung.com/Support/ProductSupport/Download/query.aspx?keyword=sd-612
