Re-Install Acer ScanPrisa 640P driver on Windows XP - after problems with using the scan program MiraScan V4.32 As I see many have problems getting the 640P to work with Windows XP. The first time I installed, the TWAIN-Program aborted directly after the MiraScan Logo showed up. But not problem, with some patience you will easily fix it. I can recommend you to do the following steps -> Uninstall all scanner driver and software -> set parallel port in EPP-mode -> re-install (see the text file)
