Worked beautifully on Windows XP Home Edition in the UK. This is the sub £10 Dabs.com Value Conexant modem which has no XP drivers on the CD. Initially detected as a 'Best Data' modem you will probably get no-dial tone errors. Follow the readme.txt and update the driver using the 'Have Disk' Option. Will then appear as 'Generic SoftK56 Data Fax'. Got speeds of 54.5kbps on first usage -)
