[FCCID=HWF95FCA4S] Connect the scanner. Don't select a driver and cancel the Windows XP driver search. If the device exists in Control Panel\System\Hardware\Device Manager, remove it.
Run Fixwinxp.exe first. Then select run.exe as the windows 2000 driver. Allow the computer to be restarted and when the scanner is found, it should be auto detected as a Mustek 1200 SP Scanner, whose drivers seem to work fine with my MFC-600s.
