Ok. This was done on a HP Visualize P550. I performed a CLEAN install of XP professional. The audio for the AD1816 did NOT work. I went over to the same model/make of computer that was running Windows 2000 and reinstalled the AD1816 and pulled that .inf file and the associated driver files and placed into one folder onto a CD. I then went back to the XP machine and performed a driver update on the sound device AD1816 and pointed it to the folder (stuff in the zip file I uploaded here) and BOOM there it was, it worked. Note, I didn't include the game port or MIDI driver files from the W2K installation. I don't use em. If you need them and don't have access, send me an e-mail darkhalox13@msn.com and I'll send them your way.
